You will need:
- Straight pins
- Styrofoam cone – I used a 9” x 4” cone
- Ribbon – I used 1” ribbon
For the ribbon layers:
- Pin the top corner of your ribbon to the cone.
- Insert a second pin 1/2 inch to the right of the first.
- Make a 1/2 fold and pin ribbon back, over second pin.
- Insert fourth pin 1/2 inch to the right of the fold.
- Make a 1/2 fold, pin ribbon back, over fourth pin.
- Continue this process all the way around the cone.
For the top of the cone:
- Pin ribbon to cover the top of the cone
- Insert first pin in the center of the ribbon, allowing half of ribbon to extend past the end of the cone.
- Make 1/2 folds just as before, but place second pin on the underside of the fold.
